Managing Director of Pennington Real Estate Partners

Alex Rongione joined Pennington Real Estate Partners in Q423 as a Managing Director responsible for all aspects of the business. He is a member of the Investment Committee for Pennington Real Estate Partners and plays a lead role in the origination, asset management and realization of investments.

Prior to joining Pennington, Alex was on the equity investment team at Walker & Dunlop Investment Partners, a middle-market real estate investment platform with over $6.1 billion of assets under management as of his time of departure in Q423. He contributed to all aspects of the investment process including but not limited to capital raising, strategy, origination, and execution. At WDIP Alex was responsible for closing investments with a total capitalization in excess of $1.7 billion.

Prior to joining WDIP, Alex worked for JP Morgan’s Real Estate Americas group, an institutional real estate investment platform with over $60.0 billion of assets under management as of his time of departure in 4Q19. While at JP Morgan, Alex was responsible for the acquisition, development, asset management, and disposition of commercial real estate assets across geographies, property types, and risk profiles within the United States.

Alex is a CFA charter holder, a NAIOP Developing Leader, and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a BSBA in Finance and Global Management.
