President & Chief Investment Officer

Christopher Wolfe is the President and Chief Investment Officer for Pennington Partners, an award winning multi-family office that integrates and simplifies the complexities of trust, tax, estate, and investment planning and management.  In this role, he is responsible, with founder Brian Gaister, for leading Pennington's asset and client growth as well as overseeing the investment platform and process.  Christopher has over 30 years' experience in leading and managing private wealth organizations, processes, and delivering top tier performance for clients. 

Prior to Pennington, he was the Chief Investment Officer and senior leader for First Republic Private Wealth Management from 2016 to 2023, before it was later acquired by JPMorgan where he was Chief Investment Officer for the JPMorgan Private Wealth Advisors.  Christopher was the head of the Merrill Lynch Chief Investment Office, Head of Global Equity for JPMorgan Private Bank, and a mutual fund and portfolio manager earlier in his career.  He earned an MBA from Columbia University, a BS from the University of Rhode Island, and is a CFP licensee and a CFA charterholder.
