Executive Assistant

Courtney is an Executive Assistant and office manager for both the Pennington Partners Houston and Washington D.C. offices. Prior to joining Pennington, Courtney attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in three and a half years.

While attending classes at St. Thomas, she was a member of their NCAA Division III Volleyball team and was inducted as a member to the PsiChi International Honor Society in Psychology. She also worked full-time while in school, gaining relevant experience in the field of office administration. From 2020 to 2022, she worked for a local physician, managing the front office and providing direct patient care, mostly to those suffering from COVID-19. She also maintained a position as the office manager for the Houston location of a Canada-based energy company prior to joining Pennington.

Outside of the office, Courtney is passionate about pilates, plants, cooking, and spending time with her pets. She also volunteers her time as member of the Bayou Awakening Retreat staff, a retreat hosted in Houston, attended by college-aged youth to deepen their faith and relationship with God.
