Senior Staff Accountant

Nadia Khan is a Senior Staff Accountant on Pennington’s Finance Team with over 6 years of accounting experience. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and holds a master’s degree in accounting from Southern Methodist University along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.

Prior to joining Pennington, Nadia worked as a forensic accountant for Forensic Risk Alliance in Washington, DC. She prepared numerous financial analyses for commercial damages claims and assisted pre-litigation clients that were being investigated by the SEC and DOJ. She has prepared disgorgement calculations for multinational companies and been involved in multiple anti-bribery and corruption investigations. 

Nadia began her career at Petroplex Energy, Inc. in Dallas, Texas where she was a General Accountant and responsible for leading both the daily processing and month end close activities along with corporate tax reporting for the company.

Outside of the office, Nadia is passionate about traveling to new countries and exploring new restaurants in the DMV area.
