Managing Director, Private Markets

Wendy Xu serves as Managing Director, Private Markets at Pennington Partners & Co. and is responsible for investments across private equity and private credit. Previously, Wendy was a Director of Investments at Bryn Mawr College's endowment, where she managed the private markets portfolio and played a leadership role in all aspects of endowment portfolio management.

For the ten years prior, Wendy was a Senior Vice President and Director of Private Equity at Rockefeller Capital Management, where she led manager sourcing, diligence, and monitoring, in addition to raising and managing the firm's private equity funds of funds. Wendy began her career at Goldman Sachs as an investment banking analyst, followed by New Mountain Capital, where she focused on LBO, growth equity, and credit investments as a private equity associate. She holds an A.B. in Economics from Princeton and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a Joseph Wharton Fellow.
